Hoops for the Homeless
A service project impacting the homeless community.
Sixteen-year-old Lucas Gould is changing the lives of homeless men in Cincinnati through The Oscar Robertson "Hoops for the Homeless" Community Service Project. A high school basketball star at Indian Hill High School, Lucas wanted to create a project that supports homeless men while honoring his hero, basketball great Oscar Robertson. He understands the value of physical activity and wants the men who are on the road to self-sufficiency to realize those benefits as well.
Lucas is raising the funds to build a basketball court and outdoor recreation area at Talbert House's Parkway Center. This recreational space will include a basketball court and outdoor greenspace for other recreational activities, as well as parking and a Veterans memorial garden.
Team up with Lucas to change the lives of men through The Oscar Robertson "Hoops for the Homeless" Community Service Project by making a gift today.
