Opioid Overdose Recognition and Response

We are hosting several community-based training sessions to combat the heroin epidemic and frequent overdoses occurring in Cincinnati’s neighborhood communities. The training provides guidance related to opioid overdose response and instruction on how to administer the lifesaving drug naloxone, also known by the brand name Narcan®. The non-narcotic medication will be furnished to attendees during each session. All community members and surrounding neighborhoods are encouraged to attend nearby sessions.
