LOCATION
Talbert House is a network of services in Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren counties in Ohio and Kenton County in Kentucky. Job openings and locations vary. See the Career Center for more information.

BENEFITS
Based on eligibility, additional benefits may include health, dental, employer-paid life and disability insurance, sick and paid time off and a 403(b) retirement account, S125 Flexible Benefits Spending Account for health and child-care expenses, and paid time off.

TRAINING
Each employee will enhance his or her skills by completing a minimum of 40 hours per year of professional development (prorated for part-time employees). Talbert House runs the Institute for Training and Development, providing a wide array of topics for personal and professional development. Tuition scholarships may be available, as is reimbursement for up to 80 percent of the cost of credentialing/licensing for eligible staff.

INTERNSHIPS
Talbert House have a variety of internships available for students studying counseling, social work, addictions, criminal justice or psychology as part of a degree program. Internships are arranged based upon the student's individual needs and interests as well as program availability.

Students must commit to at least one quarter (10 weeks) for internship, and they should initiate the process at least one month before they wish their internship to begin. ONGOING RECRUITMENT FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS

Activity and Security Monitors
Primary duties include: Provides support services to clients in a residential setting. May perform client monitoring, daily living skills training, etc. Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred candidate will have a course of study in Criminal Justice and/or experience in Community Corrections or security/monitoring

Clinical Service Providers
Primary duties include: maintaining a caseload; meeting with clients on an individual and/or group basis; providing direct clinical services; assisting clients in more effectively functioning within, or preparing for reintegration into, the community. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, as well as CD or Social Work licensure. In most cases, this requires successful completion of Clinical Assessment Tracking and Triage [CATT] training within first eight (8) weeks of hire unless otherwise noted. CATT training is a course in using computers for clinical documentation. Requirements vary by position.
