PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The APPIC accredited Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship at Talbert House and Centerpoint Health is available to students currently enrolled in a doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology.
Psychology Internship Program Philosophy and Training Goals
The primary goal of the Psychology Internship Program is to train highly competent generalist practitioners capable of providing a range of evidenced-based psychological services to a clinically challenging and diverse patient population. The range of rotations ensures interns will experience a wide variety of client clinical presentations such as adult, adolescent, and child mental health programs and chemical dependency programs. The internship also offers a variety of community-based settings including outpatient and residential programs, school-based interventions and community corrections.
