Talbert House celebrated dads at the Fatherhood Community Event on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Sawyer Point

CINCINNATI—Talbert House treated dad to a fun filled day from on Father's Day, Sunday, June 19, 2011, at the Fatherhood Community Celebration Event. This special day at Sawyer Point provided fathers the opportunity to spend a free, fun day with their children. There was free food and drink, games, arts, crafts, inflatables, music, Cincinnati Zoo animals and sports challenge activities with the Bengals and members of the UC Basketball team.
Live bands rocked the crowd with the following line-up:
11 am – 12 pm The Chuck Land Band
12 pm – 1 pm Billy Rock Trio
1 pm – 2 pm Danny Frazier Band
2 pm – 4 pm Tickled Pink
This special event introduced men and their families to theTalbert House Fatherhood Project, a program that assists men in their efforts to become the responsible, committed and nurturing fathers they want to be.
Talbert House hosted this free event which was open to the public to celebrate fatherhood and promote the mission of Talbert House. Next year bring that special dad, grandparent, brother or friend to this one-of-a-kind celebration!
