Nonprofit leaders encouraged to apply to intensive training program
Talbert House accepting applications for Executive Curriculum for Emerging Leaders
CINCINNATI—Applications for Executive Curriculum for Emerging Leaders (EXCEL), a year-long leadership training program for nonprofit managers, are now being accepted until Monday July 16, 2007. EXCEL is a new initiative designed by Talbert House for nonprofit agencies in the Greater Cincinnati area.
The program begins in September. EXCEL features an individually designed development plan, mentoring, a participant-focused curriculum, project learning, and networking.
Local corporations are supporting EXCEL by providing executive facilitators who will focus on how nonprofits can use successful business strategies. Corporate executives from the following will be participating as faculty: Deloitte, Fifth Third Bank, GE Aviation, Kroger, Macy's Inc., Mercer, Midwest Manufacturing Solutions, Proctor and Gamble and US Bank.
Applicants with nonprofit management experience with a bachelor’s (or equivalent) and five years of experience in personnel, budget, policy and procedure, program integrity or similar activities are encouraged to apply.
