Talbert House maintains ACA accreditation for thirty years
One of two agencies in the country to reach milestone
Talbert House is one of two agencies nationally to have been accredited by the American Correctional Association (ACA) since 1978, the first year accreditation standards were established. Youngstown's Community Corrections Association is the other agency to reach the milestone.
"For the past thirty years, these two agencies have maintained the standard of excellence expected by the accreditation process, and have shown themselves to be leaders in the correctional field," wrote Dave Taylor, Correctional Accreditation Managers Association executive director.
Talbert House programs that are currently accredited by ACA include ADAPT, Community Correctional Center, Cornerstone, Pathways, Spring Grove Center and Turtle Creek Center.
Talbert House is a community-wide nonprofit network of social services with 30 proven programs focusing on prevention, assessment, treatment and reintegration. Each year, Talbert House helps 25,000 men, women and children across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky overcome adversity to become healthy and productive citizens through its programs in community corrections, mental health, substance abuse and welfare-to-work.
