Talbert House announces 2009 Board of Trustees

John Silverman is the 24th chairperson of the Talbert House Board of Trustees

CINCINNATI — Talbert House is pleased to announce its 2009 Board of Trustees and Officers, appointed at the agency’s annual meeting in September. John I. Silverman is serving as the agency’s 24th board chairperson.

The Talbert House Board of Trustees oversees the 600-employee nonprofit agency and its $40 million budget. Talbert House is a social service agency ranked in the Business Courier’s list of top 25 largest nonprofit organizations in Greater Cincinnati. The agency provides services in community corrections, mental health, substance abuse and welfare-to-work.

From July 2007-June 2008, Talbert House served 25,000 clients face-to-face with another 30,000 individuals served through its prevention programs.
