Centerpoint Health announces its Board of Trustees
Robert Alexander is named agency's first chairperson

CINCINNATI—Centerpoint Health, a comprehensive behavioral healthcare agency, announces its 2008 Board of Trustees. The nonprofit was formed January 1 from the consolidation of three local mental health agencies.

Robert A. Alexander, National City senior vice president, has been elected as chairperson of the board. He served on the board of Core Behavioral Health Centers for nine years before the consolidation. As chair, Alexander will serve on the board's executive and finance committees.

Centerpoint Health provides behavioral healthcare including outpatient treatment, counseling, case management, support services and crisis and prevention services to residents of Hamilton County, Ohio. In 2008, the agency was formed from the consolidation of three local mental health agencies: Center for Children and Families (CCF), Core Behavioral Health Centers, and NORCEN Behavioral Health Systems.
