Cincinnati nonprofit leaders encouraged to apply to EXCEL Class VI
Talbert House now accepting applications for Executive Curriculum for Emerging Leaders
CINCINNATI—Local nonprofit managers are encouraged to apply to Executive Curriculum for Emerging Leaders (EXCEL), a year-long leadership training program developed by Talbert House. The deadline is Thursday, June 30, 2011.
EXCEL is an intensive leadership curriculum that draws on the expertise of local business executives. This year's faculty includes executives from Definity Partners, Deloitte, Fidelity Investments, Kroger, Procter and Gamble and US Bank. EXCEL also features an individually designed development plan, mentoring, a participant-focused curriculum, project learning, and networking. The program begins in September.
EXCEL was designed by Talbert House and is now in its sixth year. Thanks to the following sponsors: United Way of Greater Cincinnati; Fidelity Investments, Daniel & Susan Pfau Foundation, National City Bank, Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Definity Partners, The Midland Company.
Organizations that have participated in this program include United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Jewish Vocational Services, Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati Union Bethel, Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio, Cincinnati Area Senior Services, 4C for Children, American Red Cross, Stepping Stones, Pro Seniors, Freestore Foodbank and Alcoholism Council.
Applicants with nonprofit management experience with a bachelor's (or equivalent) and five years of experience in personnel, budget, policy and procedure, program integrity or similar activities are encouraged to apply.
