Talbert House to provide free trainings
to faith-based and community non-profits

CINCINNATI — Talbert House is pleased to announce it has been selected as the Southwest regional partner of the Ohio TANF Training Program (OTTP) to provide free capacity building trainings to faith-based and community non-profits.

The training topics include strategic planning, board development, building collaborations, fund development, grant writing, human resources and volunteer management. All trainings are free.

Trainings will be held in Cincinnati, Sidney, Dayton and Washington Court House. A complete list of dates is available at http://www.talberthouse.org/training/ottp.html.

Talbert House is one of the four regional partners that will deliver capacity building trainings, technical assistance, one-on-one mentoring and mini-grant funding to faith-based and community non-profits throughout Ohio.

Trainings are made possible through a grant by Ohio Governor’s Office of Faith Based & Community Initiatives.

Talbert House is a community-wide nonprofit network of social services with 30 proven programs focusing on prevention, assessment, treatment and reintegration. Each year, Talbert House helps 25,000 men, women and children across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky overcome adversity to become healthy and productive citizens through its programs in community corrections, mental health, substance abuse and welfare-to-work.
