Southwest Ohio faith-based and community organizations
receive grants from Talbert House Compassion Capital Program
CINCINNATI—Talbert House has awarded $200,000 in grants to 30 faith-based and community organizations through the agency’s Compassion Capital Program (CCP).
CCP supports organizations that promote the economic and social well-being of families, children, individuals and communities in Southwest Ohio and is funded through U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Administration for Children and Families. Only organizations already enrolled in CCP were eligible to apply.
Talbert House launched CCP in January 2010 and has 86 Southwest Ohio organizations enrolled. These organizations receive 240 hours of training and 2,000 hours of technical assistance, coaching and mentoring throughout the year.
