Talbert House celebrates 45 years at Hyde Park Bonefish Grill
The event honored staff and board members whose service spans more than 20 years
CINCINNATI—Talbert House celebrated its 45th anniversary at the Bonefish Grill in Hyde Park on August 29. Over 100 guests attended to celebrate the milestone with Talbert House, Southwest Ohio’s largest social service agency serving 26,000 clients a year. The event raised $70,000 to support the agency’s work in the community.
Through the decades, the agency has helped thousands of adolescents, adults and families. The event honored individuals who have helped make Talbert House the outstanding organization it is today.
“Since 1965, thousands of lives have been changed because of the work Talbert House does,” said Talbert House President Neil Tilow. “We’ve changed throughout the decades, but we’ve always stayed true to our focus of solving tough social problems using strong business principles. We have many people to thank who have helped us over the years.”
Talbert House board and staff members whose commitment to services span more than twenty of the agency’s 45 years were honored, including board members Jim Chalfie, Michael Harmon, Fred Joffe, Gwen McFarlin, Robert Moskowitz, Dr. E.B. “Ted” Silberstein and Richard Weiland and staff members Tim Alley, Thomas Berghausen, Pamela McClain, Mary Spottswood and Neil Tilow.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Cincinnati community and offer our support to celebrate a worthwhile local cause benefitting others in our own backyard,” said Robin Garrison, managing partner of Bonefish Grill in Cincinnati.
Talbert House 45th Anniversary Celebration co-chair were Richard Weiland, Cathy Crain and Dotsy Klei. Special thanks to Bonefish Grill and TLT, which provided the live entertainment.
