2010 Fathers of the Year
Married for 55 years to Fannie, The Honorable William Mallory Sr. is the father of six: William Jr., Mark, Joe, Dwane, Dale and Leslie Denise. He served in the Ohio House of Representatives for 28 years. He served 20 years as Majority Floor Leader, the first African American to hold that position. He retired in 1994, becoming the longest serving majority leader in Ohio's history and the longest-serving Ohio representative from Hamilton County. Since his retirement, he founded the Mallory Center for Community Development, a nonprofit agency in Cincinnati, as well as the African American Historical Ball, an annual event honoring great African Americans.

Married for 49 years to Nancy, Robert Stautberg is the father of six: Timothy, Peter, Elizabeth, Andrew, Christopher and Matthew. In 1987, Stautberg retired from KPMG, an international firm of certified public accountants, after a 26-year career. He is currently the vice president of St. Xavier High School. In addition, Stautberg has served on the boards and advisory boards of many local institutions including Cincinnati Institute of Fine Arts, Xavier University College of Business, The Taft Museum, Catholic Inner-City Schools Education Fund, Family Service of Greater Cincinnati and TriHealth. He also served as a council member for the Village of Indian Hill from 1989-1993 and chaired the finance committee from 1991-1993.

William Wesley is the father of three sons ages 21-8: Billy, Mick and Nathaniel. Wesley became involved in the Talbert House Fatherhood Project after a divorce, wanting to strengthen his connection with his children and improve his parenting relationship with his ex-wife. He was granted additional visitation through the court system and now has a strong relationship with all his sons. He credits the Fatherhood Project’s weekly class as being a tool that has allowed him to bond with his children. Wesley has been part of the program since 2007, mentoring other fathers as they make positive changes in their own families. Wesley has worked seven years as a dispatcher at Frate Incorporated.

Talbert House raised $48,000 from the event, which was chaired by John Silverman of Midland Atlantic Development Company and Talbert House board chairperson.
