I Live for Today: A Serenity Hall Success Story
 Anthony's Story |
“It started with alcohol and from there I never turned down a drug,” says Anthony, a graduate of Talbert House’s Serenity Hall.
Anthony was first ordered to treatment at Talbert House’s Community Correctional Center (CCC). “Judge Pater saved my life. From that point on I knew I had to change in order to avoid prison or death,” says Anthony.
After CCC, Anthony transitioned to Serenity Hall. Serenity Hall was a major progression in Anthony’s recovery process. There he learned job application, resume writing and interviewing skills. With all his hard work and persistence, Anthony soon found a job working at a local restaurant.
Anthony has been sober for more than two years and is now active in his children’s lives.
“I may not have everything I want, but I have everything I need…I live for today.”
