Ronald: 2011 Fatherhood of the Year Award Recipient
Ronald came to the Talbert House Fatherhood Project in May 2008. He had recently obtained physical custody of his five children and wanted to strengthen and improve his relationship with them.
He enrolled in the Nurturing Fathers class where he gained parenting skills and learned about child development. He obtained permanent housing and soon thereafter became the legal custodian of his children.
Ronald has continued to be a role-model to his children. He has enrolled in college and is majoring in Information Technology.
He humbly states, “We are here, and we are making it. My children are a blessing.”
