AFFILIATIONS

To address the realities of limited funding and the cost-containment demands of funders, Talbert House developed an affiliation with Centerpoint Health and Gateways. These agencies are independent, and Talbert House is responsible for the financial, human resources and quality and clinical services for these agencies. Centerpoint Health and Gateways maintain an independent 501(c) 3 tax status as well as its own boards.

Gateways: A Recovery Center

Gateways is the premier drug and alcohol treatment outpatient center in Greater Cincinnati. Services are designed for adults and adolescents whose drug use or alcohol abuse is interfering with their personal safety, achievements and healthy family communication. Gateways provides an intensive group experience that both educates and assists our patients in examining their substance abuse issues.

Patients are referred to Gateways by self-referral, family members, psychiatrists, psychologists, family physicians, lawyers, social work professionals, employee assistance programs, community counseling services or legal systems. Once a referral has been made, an intake assessment will be scheduled to initiate admission. Insurance coverage or other financial issues will be reviewed during the intake appointment.
