Licensure and Accreditation

Accreditations: The organization is monitored by a diverse group of regulatory bodies. Talbert House believes it is important to validate the quality of services through external sources.

Talbert House has maintained a three-year accreditation by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) since February 2005 for the agency’s mental health and substance use programs. The American Correctional Association has accredited the community corrections sites. Each of these organizations maintains separate standards related to client care, confidentiality, employee qualifications, financial accountability, and the physical plant. The agency must also comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
