Talbert House Earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation

CINCINNATI – Talbert House has earned a three-year accreditation from CARF International, the highest level of accreditation awarded by the independent nonprofit accrediting organization. The accreditation extends through December 31, 2028.

Following a comprehensive review, CARF recognized Talbert House for its commitment to quality services and for meeting standards that support positive outcomes for the individuals and families it serves. Surveyors recognized the organization's dedicated employees, strong community partnerships, innovative programs and comprehensive, integrated services. After seven CARF surveyors evaluated 30 programs across the organization, Talbert House received only five recommendations for improvement, highlighting the strength and quality of its services and operations.

Talbert House affiliate Gateways, an outpatient recovery center providing assessment, education and treatment services for adults experiencing substance use and mental health challenges, also earned a three-year CARF accreditation. Gateways received no recommendations following its review, an achievement reached by only 3% of CARF surveys, highlighting its commitment to quality, evidence-based care.
