Talbert House Names Director of New Child Wellness Campus
CINCINNATI – Talbert House is proud to announce Megan Keene as the new Director of the Child Wellness Campus, a program designed to provide a safe, short-term therapeutic environment for youth experiencing crisis.
Keene has been with Talbert House for more than seven years. She began her career with the organization as a Clinical Counselor and most recently served as Associate Director of the Union Day Therapeutic School. In that role, she oversaw clinical and operational programming that directly impacts the safety, stability, and success of students.
As Director of the Child Wellness Campus, Keene will lead the planning of the program, which will serve youth who are in or at risk of entering the custody of Hamilton County Job & Family Services. Working in collaboration with Hamilton County Juvenile Court, Hamilton County Mental Health & Recovery Services Board, Hamilton County Job & Family Services, and the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, the campus will offer a structured, short-term stay designed to stabilize youth and connect them with the resources they need for long-term success. Services include comprehensive assessments, therapy, case management, medical support, peer engagement, and family involvement.
“Megan’s ability to lead with compassion while responding to crisis situations makes her an ideal leader for this program,” said Shelley Batch, Vice President of Behavioral Health. “Her trauma-informed approach ensures youth receive the care, stability, and support they need to move forward.”
Keene earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Ball State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.
