Talbert House Names Employee of the Year
2025 Outstanding Employees Named for Each Service Line
CINCINNATI – Talbert House is proud to announce Brent Taylor as its 2025 Employee of the Year. He was recognized alongside Outstanding Employees from each service line, including Samantha Banks (Central Services), Karen Luken (Community Care), Maurice Gunn (Addictions and Mental Health Residential), Alec Hargrove (Court and Corrections), and Thomas Bauer (Medical and Mental Health). The honorees were celebrated at the agency’s annual employee appreciation event.
Brent Taylor began his career at Talbert House as a case manager, quickly demonstrating strong leadership and earning a promotion to Recovery Housing Supervisor. Over the past year, he has strengthened the Recovery Housing program, improving stability, effectiveness, and occupancy. He also played a key role in launching a new recovery housing property, creating a safe and supportive environment for residents.
“Brent’s leadership, dedication, and lived experience truly set him apart,” said Jessica Powell, Vice President of Housing and Asset Management. “He leads with both heart and expertise, creating a positive impact on staff, residents, and the overall success of the program.”
