CINCINNATI – Talbert House’s annual Make Camp Possible event raised $123,000 to support Camp Possible, a therapeutic summer program for children coping with mental health challenges. The circus-themed event, held November 21 at Ivy Hills Country Club, was attended by over 150 guests. As a result, more than 60 children will have the opportunity to attend Camp Possible next summer.

Camp Possible provides children with a safe, structured, and supportive environment during school breaks. Campers participate in group therapy sessions and learn skills such as anger management, self-esteem, and peer relations. Because over 96% of the children who attend Camp Possible are low-income, there is no cost to attend.

A special thank-you to the Presenting Sponsor, The Jackie and Roy Sweeney Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation; Gratitude Sponsors Fifth Third Bank, The Ed and Joann Hubert Family Foundation, and Williams Foundation; and Respect Sponsors Fifth Third Bank, Robert D. Stern Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, and USI Insurance Services. Talbert House also thanks the Make Camp Possible committee, co-chaired by Emily Peterson and Peter Hiltz.
