Talbert House Raises Over $440,000 for the Fathers

Jun 8, 2026
Fathers of the Year

CINCINNATI – Talbert House raised more than $440,000 during its annual Fatherhood Celebration on June 5 at Memorial Hall. The funds will support the Fatherhood Project, helping fathers build stronger relationships with their children and become more responsible, committed, and nurturing parents.

Presented by the Hatton Foundation, the event honored Thane Maynard, Executive Chairman of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and father of three, as Community Father of the Year. Jesse James, a Fatherhood Project graduate and father of two, was recognized as Graduate Father of the Year.

The Fatherhood Project helps dads strengthen their connection and involvement in the lives of their children by providing classes, co-parenting and individual coaching, legal and employment services, and fellowship support meetings. Since 2008, the program has served more than 5,000 fathers, positively impacting over 11,000 children. For more information, visit talberthouse.org.

Talbert House extends its sincere gratitude to Presenting Sponsor the Hatton Foundation and Champion Sponsors: Cintech Construction, Inc., Bob Coughlin, The Edelweiss Foundation, Fifth Third Bank, The Jackie and Roy Sweeney Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Amy and George Joseph Fund, Peter and Laura Klekamp, Gary Lubin, the Meacham Family, John and Nancy Silverman, and the Williams Foundation. Special thanks also go to the Fatherhood Committee, chaired by David Hoguet, for its dedication and generous support of this event.
