Talbert House to Open New Child Wellness Campus in Hamilton County
CINCINNATI – Talbert House is proud to announce the opening of a new Child Wellness Campus in Hamilton County, offering a safe, short-term, therapeutic program for youth in crisis. Serving young people ages 12–18 with complex behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs, the campus will provide care while keeping them close to their families, schools, and communities.
Talbert House is one of six organizations in Ohio selected to receive funding to operate a Child Wellness Campus, supporting a statewide effort to provide local, community-based care for youth with complex needs.
The campus will serve youth in or at risk of entering Hamilton County Job & Family Services custody through an intensive, approximately 45-day program. Services include assessments, therapy, case management, medical support, peer engagement, and family involvement.
“These campuses give us the opportunity to provide youth with immediate support close to home,” said Josh Arnold, CEO of Talbert House. “Our wellness center will stabilize youth, keep families connected, and provide care tailored to each child’s needs.”
This initiative is made possible in partnership with Hamilton County Juvenile Court, Hamilton County Mental Health & Recovery Services Board, Hamilton County Job & Family Services, and the Ohio Department of Children and Youth.
