The Foundation for Talbert House Honors Klekamp Family
CINCINNATI – The Foundation for Talbert House honored Peter Klekamp and his family with the Richard Shenk Visionary Award in recognition of their longstanding commitment to Talbert House and their significant investment in the community.
The award was presented at the 21st Century Luncheon, an annual event hosted by the Foundation for Talbert House to celebrate and thank 21st Century Society members for their generous support and commitment to the future of Talbert House.
The Klekamp family has supported Talbert House since 2010, helping strengthen programs throughout the community. Peter spent more than a decade serving on the Talbert House Fatherhood Committee, including three years as chair. His commitment to fathers and families is a family tradition. His father, Don Klekamp, was recognized as the Talbert House Fatherhood Project Father of the Year in 2011.
More recently, the Klekamp family made a significant investment in the Klekamp Family Veterans Residence, helping bring Peter’s vision for a supportive housing community for veterans to life. The residence provides veterans with a safe and stable place to live while they work toward greater independence and long-term stability.
The Foundation for Talbert House was established to help ensure Talbert House can continue providing critical services for generations to come. The 21st Century Society recognizes individuals and families who make a lasting commitment to the future of Talbert House through planned gifts and other forms of long-term support.
