Talbert House honors Fifth Third Bank

Posted on: November 4, 2019

CINCINNATI— The Foundation for Talbert House hosted the 21st Century Society Appreciation Luncheon at Kenwood Country Club on Tuesday, October 22 to celebrate and thank twenty-one members for their generous commitment to the agency. During the event, President and CEO, Neil Tilow presented the Richard Shenk Visionary Award to Fifth Third Bank for its dedication to philanthropy and making significant contributions to our community.

Fifth Third Bank has been a generous donor to Talbert House for over twenty years. In this time, they have supported Talbert House events as well as initiatives including Geiger House and Parkway Apartments. In addition, The Foundation Office at Fifth Third Bank has supported Talbert House through the various trusts it manages. The Jacob G. Schimdlapp Trusts, through grants and special project funds, have supported the integration of primary care, the Fatherhood Project, and technology upgrades.

“We are very grateful for Fifth Third Bank’s generosity to Talbert House over the years. Their philanthropic spirit has made a true difference in the lives of many throughout Greater Cincinnati,” said Talbert House President and CEO, Neil Tilow.

The Foundation for Talbert House was established to ensure that the Agency’s services are available for years to come. The 21st Century Society recognizes those who have made this thoughtful and long-term commitment.
