Talbert House Receives 3-Year CARF Accreditation

Posted on: January 30, 2020

CINCINNATI— In January 2020, the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) announced the three-year reaccreditation of Talbert House for mental health and addiction treatment for children and adults, as well as housing and integrated primary care services. The agency has been accredited through CARF since 2004.

The CARF accreditation is the result of Talbert House’s continued dedication and commitment to improving the lives of those served. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality and are measurable and accountable.

An affiliate of Talbert House, Gateways, was also reaccredited for an additional three years by CARF for mental health and addiction services. Gateways has outpatient recovery centers in Walnut Hills and Western Hills that provide services for adults and youth coping with substance use and co-occurring mental health issues.
