Internships at Talbert House
We offer a range of hands-on, practical work experiences for current undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.
Our internships provide valuable real-world experience, allowing students to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting. Internship terms align with academic calendars and are typically offered as follows:
- Summer: May through August
- Fall: August through December
- Spring: January through May
We are currently seeking interns in the following areas:
- Criminal Justice
- Compliance
- Counseling
- Human Resources
- Operations
- Primary Care
- Psychology
- Social Work
Placement Questions
- Please list your full name, including middle initial.
- What school do you attend?
- Are you in undergraduate or graduate school?
- What classification are you in school?
- What is your expected graduation date?
- What kind of experience are you looking for? Adults only? Families? Mental Health? Etc.
- What is the supervision level you require? (Please attach your Supervision Agreement to your response email to me.)
- What degree and/or licensure will your potential internship supervisor need to have?
- Can you provide proof of your internship needs? For example, something that shows that an internship is required, like a class schedule. (Please attach the proof to your response email to me.)
- What date are you looking to starting your internship? The expected end date?
- How many hours do you require?
- Have you already identified a supervisor within Talbert House for this internship?
- Were you recommended by anyone? If so, what organization are they with?
