How to Join the Hamilton County Youth Employment Program
Hamilton County Youth Employment (HCYE) is a year-round program for youth ages 14–21, helping them explore careers, connect with employers, and build skills for workforce success.
Program Eligibility:
- Must live in Hamilton County
- Be 14–21 at enrollment
- Have an employment barrier
Join our recurring Worksite Interest Information Session, held every Wednesday at 6:00 PM via Microsoft Teams.
Step 1: Complete Program Forms - Click here to access program forms
- Program forms are required to participate in paid training opportunities
- Ensure all sections of the packet are fully completed
- For youth under 18, a parent or guardian must sign and submit the forms
Step 2: Complete the Eligibility Form - Click here to access the form
- Click on Eligibility Application
- In the “YEP Partner” section (top left), select “Talbert House” from the dropdown menu.
- In the “Eligibility Criterium” section (near the bottom), identify a barrier to employment (e.g., lack of experience, age, scheduling). This field must be completed.
- The response to successful applications is: "Nothing to report."
