How to Join the Hamilton County Youth Employment Program

Hamilton County Youth Employment (HCYE) is a year-round program for youth ages 14–21, helping them explore careers, connect with employers, and build skills for workforce success.

Program Eligibility:

Must live in Hamilton County
Be 14–21 at enrollment
Have an employment barrier

Join our recurring Worksite Interest Information Session, held every Wednesday at 6:00 PM via Microsoft Teams.

Step 1: Complete Program Forms - Click here to access program forms

Program forms are required to participate in paid training opportunities
Ensure all sections of the packet are fully completed
For youth under 18, a parent or guardian must sign and submit the forms

Step 2: Complete the Eligibility Form - Click here to access the form

Click on Eligibility Application
In the “YEP Partner” section (top left), select “Talbert House” from the dropdown menu.
In the “Eligibility Criterium” section (near the bottom), identify a barrier to employment (e.g., lack of experience, age, scheduling). This field must be completed.
The response to successful applications is: "Nothing to report."
