How to Join the Hamilton County Youth Employment Program
Hamilton County Youth Employment (HCYE) is a year-round program for youth ages 14–21. We help young people explore careers, connect with employers, and build the skills and support they need to succeed in the workforce.
Currently, our seasonal employment activity is at capacity. We encourage you to complete Steps 1 & 2 below to qualify for our paid training program through mid-March 2026
Step 1: Complete Program Forms - Click here to access program forms
- Program forms are required to participate in paid training opportunities
- Ensure all sections of the packet are fully completed
- For youth under 18, a parent or guardian must sign and submit the forms
Step 2: Complete the Eligibility Form - Click here to access the form
- Click on Eligibility Application
- In the “YEP Partner” section (top left), select “Talbert House” from the dropdown menu.
- In the “Eligibility Criterium” section (near the bottom), identify a barrier to employment (e.g., lack of experience, age, scheduling). This field must be completed.
- The response to successful applications is: "Nothing to report."
