CINCINNATI— Talbert House celebrated the hard work and dedication of its employees at the annual employee appreciation celebration in January. Among the agency’s nearly 900 employees, Ray Rush was honored as the 2018 Employee of the Year.

Ray Rush serves as the Associate Director for Turning Point and 1617 Reading Road, providing assessment, education, and treatment programming to individuals in the Hamilton County justice system. Ray has been with Talbert House since 1974. For the past 28 years he has occupied various positions within the Addictions service line and at Turning Point, from Service Provider to Associate Director.

"Ray’s passion is helping others in their lifelong journey to recovery. He is a champion for those who have gone through his programs and continues to stay connected and support them through a strong alumni network," said Neil Tilow, Talbert House President and CEO.

Also recognized as Outstanding Employees of 2018, by service line, were Shericeia Scott - Mental Health, Leslie Hoctor - Community Care, Sydney Priest - Housing, Mollie Flynn - Community Corrections, and Jenna Toon from the agency’s central services
